Two days. Dozens of artists. Music in the streets. History reimagined. And a community gathering that turns downtown Sallisaw into a living canvas!
The Red Autumn Art Festival returns October 31 – November 1, 2025, bigger and brighter than ever. Below, you’ll find the detailed schedule of times and performances, but here’s a taste of what awaits:
Opening Day
The festival begins with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce, followed by a powerful artwork unveiling in the Pocket Park — a multimedia installation reflecting the legend and legacy of Pretty Boy Floyd.
From midday through evening, downtown transforms into a street-side art market, alive with color and creativity. The Stage Park fills with music, from the soulful sounds of Bradley Scrimscher to the energy of Patti Steel.
When night falls, the celebration continues with Art After Hours at The Venue on Oak Street — a lively silent auction with food, drinks, live music, and a costume contest where artists and guests can truly become part of the art.
A Festival in Full Bloom
Saturday kicks off with even more artists filling the streets, plus special showcases designed to spotlight creativity at every stage.
At The Venue, artists compete in the Crossroads Juried Art Exhibition & Competition, while across town, young creators step into the spotlight at The Future of Now student art competition.
Meanwhile, the Stage Park comes alive with performances ranging from the driving sound of Mule Kick Reckoning, to the graceful steps of Ballet Folklórico Sol Azteca, to the vibrant energy of Danza Nuestra Señora de San Juan.
As the sun sets on Saturday evening, we’ll close the festival — but the memory of Red Autumn will linger long after the final note, the last brushstroke, and the shared laughter fade into the autumn air.
Whether you’re here to shop, to listen, to dance, or simply to wander — Red Autumn 2025 is your invitation to celebrate art, community, and creativity in the heart of Sallisaw.
